Chronic Back Pain
When bending, sitting or lifting has become a daily negotiation.

What is Chronic Back Pain?
Most people don't notice their back until it stops cooperating — a twinge getting out of the car, a dull ache after a long flight, or stiffness that settles in by mid-afternoon. The pain can come from discs, facet joints, muscles or a mix of all three, and it's rarely one dramatic injury. It's usually wear that's been building quietly for years, sometimes with no clear moment it started.
How regenerative medicine supports it
We start by working out where the pain is actually coming from, since disc, joint and muscle pain can feel identical but need different plans. MSC therapy and PRP support disc and soft tissue quality, alongside ozone and growth factor therapy for localised inflammation, with movement and pain scores retested at intervals. We're upfront that this won't reverse a badly collapsed disc or replace surgery when a nerve is genuinely being compressed.
Treatments we would consider
Options discussed for this condition
Listed for orientation only. What is actually prescribed depends on your records.
- MSC TherapyMedical team-guided stem cell therapy using mesenchymal cells for joint, immune and whole-body recovery.
- PRP TherapyPlatelet-rich plasma for orthopaedic, aesthetic and recovery applications.
- Growth Factor TherapyConcentrated growth factor protocols for tissue repair and regeneration.
- Ozone TherapyMedical ozone protocols for circulation, immune tone and inflammation support.
If the evidence for treating chronic back pain this way is thin, we will tell you before you book — and the review is not billed.
Chronic Back Pain — Questions Patients Ask
Will this fix my back without surgery?
It can reduce inflammation and support the tissue causing your pain, and many people feel meaningfully better. If scans show a large nerve-compressing herniation, we'll say so and point you toward a surgical opinion rather than keep injecting.
How long before I notice a difference?
Most patients report gradual improvement over four to eight weeks, not overnight relief. We track this with follow-up assessments rather than guesswork.
Can I keep exercising during treatment?
Gentle movement is usually encouraged and we'll guide you on what to avoid short-term. Complete rest often makes chronic back pain worse, not better.
Is this covered by insurance?
Regenerative therapies for back pain are rarely covered in Thailand or abroad, so we discuss costs plainly before you commit to anything.
What if my pain is actually from my hips, not my spine?
This happens more often than people expect, which is why we assess the whole kinetic chain before proposing a plan. Treating the wrong structure wastes your time and money.
