Chronic Kidney Disease

Steadying kidney function while respecting what we can't reverse.

What is Chronic Kidney Disease?

Early chronic kidney disease is almost silent — you might just notice you're more tired, retaining a bit of fluid, or your blood pressure has become harder to control. It's usually picked up through routine bloodwork long before symptoms are obvious, which is both a blessing and the reason so many people are caught off guard by the diagnosis. It progresses at very different speeds from person to person, which makes generic reassurance unhelpful.

How regenerative medicine supports it

We work from your GFR, creatinine trend, and proteinuria levels, always in coordination with your nephrologist, to build a supportive programme around inflammation, oxidative stress, and general vascular health. Therapies are chosen conservatively given the kidneys' sensitivity to fluid and toxin load, and we re-test kidney function every few months to make sure nothing is being pushed too hard. We need to be direct here: advanced CKD (stage 4-5) or anyone close to dialysis needs nephrology-led care, and we'll refer rather than attempt to manage that ourselves.

If the evidence for treating chronic kidney disease this way is thin, we will tell you before you book — and the review is not billed.

Chronic Kidney Disease — Questions Patients Ask

Can this stop me from needing dialysis eventually?

We can't promise that, and anyone suggesting otherwise isn't being straight with you. What we can do is support kidney function and try to slow progression in earlier stages, always alongside your nephrologist's monitoring.

Is IV therapy safe for someone with reduced kidney function?

It depends heavily on your stage and fluid tolerance, which is why we review your latest labs before recommending anything and often adjust volumes and ingredients accordingly.

What if my kidney disease is already advanced?

If you're at stage 4 or 5, or approaching dialysis, that needs to be managed by your nephrology team, and our role becomes limited or supportive at most rather than a primary treatment path.

Will you coordinate with my kidney specialist?

Yes, we ask to see recent results and generally prefer to stay in the loop with your treating nephrologist so nothing conflicts with your existing care plan.

How often will my kidney function be checked here?

Typically every 8-12 weeks, using creatinine, GFR and urine protein, so we have objective evidence of whether things are stable, improving, or need a change of approach.
