Regenerative Therapy
EGCG Therapy
Green tea catechin antioxidant support, delivered intravenously.

What is EGCG Therapy?
EGCG is the principal catechin found in green tea and one of the most studied plant antioxidants. As an infusion it reaches circulating levels far above what daily tea drinking provides, and it usually appears as one element of a longevity or antioxidant program rather than a standalone therapy.

Key benefits
- 01Concentrated plant antioxidant delivery
- 02Supports cellular protection pathways
- 03Fits neatly into longevity and metabolic programs
- 04Short, comfortable infusion sessions
- 05Clinician-set dosing and interval
How it works
The sequence, from first records to follow-up
- 01
Liver function first
High-dose EGCG has documented hepatic effects. Liver enzymes are checked before the first infusion, without exception.
- 02
Conservative dosing
We use lower doses than some clinics advertise, because the risk profile rises with dose and the benefit does not rise with it.
- 03
Infusion
Sessions run around sixty minutes, generally weekly across a defined course.
- 04
Mid-course enzyme recheck
Liver enzymes are repeated during the course. Any meaningful rise ends the protocol immediately.
- 05
Course close-out
EGCG is given as a defined course rather than open-ended maintenance.
What to expect
Before

Recent liver function results are required. Tell us about paracetamol use, alcohol intake and any hepatotoxic medication.
During

A straightforward infusion with little sensation. Nausea is occasionally reported and settles when the rate is reduced.
After

No downtime. You will be asked to report any nausea, dark urine or right-sided abdominal discomfort promptly, though these are uncommon.

EGCG Therapy — Questions Patients Ask
Why the emphasis on liver testing?
Because high-dose EGCG has been associated with liver injury in the literature. Testing before and during the course is the only responsible way to use it.
Is this a cancer treatment?
No. It is a polyphenol antioxidant protocol used in a supportive context, and we do not present it as oncological treatment.

Could I just drink green tea?
For general antioxidant intake, honestly yes. The IV route exists for dose levels that drinking tea cannot reach, which is also precisely why it needs monitoring.
How long is a course?
Typically four to eight sessions, then a pause. We do not run this one continuously.
Who should avoid it?
Anyone with existing liver disease, raised baseline enzymes, or significant alcohol intake.
