Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

Supporting a thyroid under steady autoimmune attack.

Care for hashimoto's thyroiditis at Bangkok Stem Cell Center

What is Hashimoto's Thyroiditis?

You might be on thyroxine and still feel tired, foggy, or like your weight won't cooperate no matter what you do. That's Hashimoto's for a lot of people — your immune system is gradually attacking the thyroid gland, and even with hormone replacement, some of the fatigue and brain fog can linger. Cold intolerance and low mood often tag along too.

How regenerative medicine supports it

We work alongside your endocrinologist, since thyroid hormone replacement remains essential and we don't adjust or replace it ourselves. MSC and exosome therapy are used with the aim of calming the autoimmune process, while we track TSH, free T4, and thyroid antibody levels over time. If your levothyroxine dose needs changing, that decision stays with your treating doctor.

If the evidence for treating hashimoto's thyroiditis this way is thin, we will tell you before you book — and the review is not billed.

Hashimoto's Thyroiditis — Questions Patients Ask

Will this let me stop taking thyroxine?

No — once your thyroid is significantly damaged, hormone replacement is usually needed long-term, and stopping it isn't something we'd support without your endocrinologist's involvement.

Can this lower my thyroid antibodies?

Some patients see antibody levels drop over time, but it's inconsistent, and a falling number doesn't always translate into feeling dramatically different.

Why do I still feel tired even with normal TSH?

That's a common and frustrating experience with Hashimoto's — we look at broader markers like vitamin D, B12 and iron alongside thyroid function to see what else might be contributing.

Do you adjust my thyroid medication dose?

No, dosing stays entirely with your endocrinologist or GP; we only look at the picture around it, not the prescription itself.

How often would you recheck my levels?

Typically every few months alongside your usual endocrinology follow-up, so we're not duplicating or conflicting with their monitoring.
