Inherited Disorder
Genetic metabolic conditions need a specialist-led, honest plan.

What is Inherited Disorder?
Inherited metabolic disorders are a different category from the diabetes and weight issues most people associate with 'metabolism' — these are conditions written into your genes, often diagnosed in childhood, affecting how the body processes fats, sugars or proteins. Some are mild and manageable, others are lifelong and serious. Families coming to us are usually looking for extra support, not a first diagnosis.
How regenerative medicine supports it
We only take these cases alongside an existing geneticist or metabolic specialist, since dosing, enzyme replacement and dietary restrictions are highly individual and not something we manage independently. Where appropriate, we offer supportive IV therapy aimed at general cellular resilience and antioxidant support, reviewing bloodwork jointly with your specialist team. We're clear that no therapy here corrects an inherited enzyme defect or genetic mutation itself.

If the evidence for treating inherited disorder this way is thin, we will tell you before you book — and the review is not billed.
Inherited Disorder — Questions Patients Ask
Can you actually treat my inherited condition?
No, we don't treat the underlying genetic defect itself; that needs specialist metabolic or genetic care. What we can offer is supportive therapy alongside that team, once we understand your diagnosis fully.
Do I need a referral from my geneticist first?
We strongly prefer it, yes — we want to see your existing diagnosis and management plan before adding anything, so we don't risk conflicting with dietary or enzyme therapy already in place.
Will IV therapy interfere with my current treatment?
It shouldn't if we know your full protocol, but some inherited disorders involve strict metabolic limits, so we review everything carefully before proceeding.
My child was diagnosed recently, can you help?
We can offer general supportive care in coordination with your paediatric metabolic specialist, but early management decisions need to stay with that team.
What can I realistically expect from coming here?
Mainly general wellbeing support and closer monitoring alongside your existing care, not a change to the underlying condition itself.
